The Netherlands.  I had the good fortune to live there for six years, while in the USAF.  Here are some memories of one of the cleanest, friendliest, industrious and beautiful countries in Europe!

London Olympics in 2012.  What a great way to spend a week's vacation in summer!

"Summer" trip from New Zealand to  Antarctica.  Strangely beautiful but desolate.  You have to be a dedicated researcher to want to spend any length of time living there....

Copenhagen rivals Amsterdam as Europe's most laid-back city.  The people are very friendly and love showing off their city.  From the mermaid in the harbor to a whirl around Tivoli Gardens, a city you can easily love!!

I was fortunate to spend a summer in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital on a research project.  Beautiful city, Northern lights, interesting food and gorgeous people.

Moscow -- A historical city, a city of culture, a formidable city ---  "ochun preekracznya"

My Tour DaVita (2017) bike ride was a great experience and a concrete way for me to rebuke end-stage-renal disease.   Life is to be lived!

Tour DaVita (2018) bike ride was again a great experience and a way for me to keep end-stage-renal disease at bay.   The Virginia countryside was superb!

The Kamchatka peninsula on Russia's east coast, is one of the most furiously volcanic places on earth.  Stark contrasts between beauty and terror-inspiring but endlessly fascinating.

I'm  extremely proud of my American Indian heritage.  My father was Seminole-Chickasaw.  Here is a small taste of the culture of some original Americans

Tour DaVita (2019) bike ride was again a singular experience and a way for me to show end-stage-renal disease who is boss   The Pennsylvania Amish country was quite a treat!  Spirit of the ride!!!
